PUTRAJAYA, 26 September 2026 — Malaysian healthtech company Remedi Innovations Sdn Bhd today signed strategic partnerships with Pharmaniaga Berhad (Pharmaniaga), Premier Integrated Labs (IHH Healthcare), KPJ Healthcare and Novo Nordisk Pharma (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Novo) to connect private primary care clinics directly with their suppliers, laboratories, referral hospitals and pharmaceutical manufacturers.
Remedi’s cloud-based clinic management system, CXremedi, is used by more than 800 private primary care clinics across Malaysia. The four partnerships integrate the clinic’s own system into the wider healthcare ecosystem so that ordering stock, ordering lab tests and receiving results, referring patients to hospital, and digital support for managing diabetes and obesity all happen inside the single system the doctor already uses.
Malaysia has 10,495 registered private medical clinics, more than three times the number of Ministry of Health (MOH) health clinics, and private primary care clinics are the first point of contact for a large share of Malaysians. While most of these clinics already use digital systems, those systems have largely operated in isolation, with lab results arriving by email to be re-typed, referrals printed and carried by hand, and stock ordered outside the clinic system.

Pharmaniaga: Connecting pharmaceutical supply with primary care
Pharmaniaga’s selected product catalogue available on CXMarket, enables clinics to conveniently place orders through the platform. This collaboration expands access to Pharmaniaga’s healthcare products and supports the ongoing digitalisation of procurement processes within primary care.

Premier Integrated Labs: Laboratory e-ordering and e-results
Doctors order laboratory tests from within the patient’s record and receive results directly back into it from Premier Integrated Labs, a member of IHH Healthcare. The integration is already live for clinics that use both services, and new clinics can be onboarded quickly.
It removes manual transcription and shortens the time from test to diagnosis, helping GPs screen more patients, catch conditions earlier, and support patients in managing their health before disease sets in.

KPJ Healthcare: E-referral from primary to tertiary care
KPJ’s eReferral platform is integrated into CXremedi, so GPs can refer patients directly from their existing clinical workflow to KPJ’s network of hospitals, specialists and services, including Centres of Excellence.
Doctors can submit relevant clinical information with each referral and communicate with KPJ consultants and service teams to coordinate appointments. This provides a more direct pathway from primary to specialist care and helps GPs remain involved in their patients’ ongoing care.

Novo Nordisk: Digital care solution for diabetes and obesity in primary care
Novo and Remedi are collaborating to strengthen diabetes and obesity management in primary care through digital innovation. The partnership aims to support healthcare professionals with clinical decision support capabilities that enable more proactive, evidence-based care throughout the chronic disease journey.
Development is currently under way, with the initial capabilities expected to be rolled out by the end of 2026.

Why now
According to the National Health and Morbidity Survey 2023, 15.6% of Malaysian adults live with diabetes, 29.2% with hypertension and 33.3% with high cholesterol, and 54.4% are living with overweight and obesity. Nearly 2.3 million adults live with three of these conditions at once. Two in five adults had no health screening in the previous 12 months.
These are long-term conditions managed in primary care across many providers, which make connected records, faster diagnostics and coordinated referrals central to patient outcomes, and to shifting the system from sick care towards health care and prevention.
The Ministry of Health is working towards One Citizen, One Record, including through the RM650 million Persada programme launched in June 2026 to connect 150 Government hospitals and 2,488 public health facilities. Remedi and its partners have positioned today’s integrations as the private sector complement to that effort.
